They're Recycling Aliens Return to Antanesta Kweezy Caploza Tales Book 2 edition by G J Griffiths Children eBooks
As the story opens, Eva and Lara are in their garden playing with their cousins, Joe and little Elliot. They are supposed to be portraying characters from a famous space movie, but the girls find themselves distracted, especially when they hear the sounds of an approaching space ship— this one real, not imaginary, and not filled with robots but tiny ant people. The Antanestians need a chemical found in Teflon, the substance that makes pots and pans non-stick. The Teflon is needed to help the aliens power their quantisizer, which lies at the center of their successful civilization. Kweezy Capolza, the ant people’s leader, is on his way back to earth to visit a list of landfills and recycling centers the girls have compiled for him. Before Kweezy can collect the Teflon he is looking for though, he needs to survive Joe, who thinks the spaceship and the tiny ant people inside are part of a space game.
The children are miniaturized and climb aboard Kweezy’s spaceship. They do their collecting and are on their way to the Antanestians’ planet when things take a downward turn. They fall under the attack of the Kraxish, an old enemy from the planet Dryado. Will the children be trapped on Zeegrazzalo-Jeewoppza with Kweezy and the rest of the Antanestians forever?
This second installment of Griffiths charming children’s series is filled with action and adventure. There are plenty of surprises and the narrative is energetic and entertaining. There is enough drama to entice younger readers without being too scary, and the illustrations, much like the first book, are colorful and enchanting. Children of all ages will appreciate the fact that this is not a book that speaks down to them. Griffiths knows just how smart our younger generation is, and the children are the real heroes in the Kweezy Caploza Tales.
There is so much to love about both Ants in Space and They’re Recycling Aliens. I think my favorite part has been reading the way Kweezy speaks. I think the only thing better would be to hear an audio version read by the creative author himself.

They're Recycling Aliens Return to Antanesta Kweezy Caploza Tales Book 2 edition by G J Griffiths Children eBooks Reviews
The second installment of GJ Griffins series “They’re Recycling Aliens” is a fantastical story of the Antanestian (ant people) who have come to earth to collect PTFE that is found in earth’s landfills, which we call Teflon. The story opens with some of the protagonist playing outside that include Eva, Laura, Joe and little Elliot. As the children play pretend in a whimsical space battle a real space ship arrives with a familiar ant called Kweezy Capolza, the leader of the ant people. Kweezy shrinks the kids and sets forth the adventure that will unfold in this imaginary story that grips the young reader in every page.
The children are transported to the Antanestian’s home planet to help power the quantisizer that has been depleted. This task is not made simple especially with the attack of the Kraxish. Children will love the adventure, battles, imagery, and most important the message of caring. The book is suited for grade school children. The vocabulary is not too advanced and can be enjoyed by a parent to read out loud during story time. And remember to use the “tiny voices” when reading the ant parts.
The story is good, although often explored in literature or movies along the "Honey, I Shrunk the Kids" theme. What inspired me was the clever connection of make-believe dressing like a princess during play at home and then the pivotal adaptation of the same dress-up but to inspire a planet toward peace. Truly shows the value of child's play and how such pretending actually inspires children to think through situations. In other words get off the video screens!
The drawback with this book was the slightly convoluted writing. This being a kids' story, you want the language to flow easily and naturally. Actually, I've usually seen adult books more crisply written than this, which is a troubling sign because prose for kids should always err on the side of the short and the sweet. Plus, some tricks that seemed to be favoured by the author didn't work well, i.e. long unpronounceable names, substituted names rarely used again, and some characters trying to pronounce advanced vocabulary, which caused me as reader to say, "come on, hurry up and say it right." I think the book has enough cuteness going for it rather than the need to drag cuteness in kids' speech patterns aside from their natural wonder.
Good role models for kids, entirely appropriate for teaching morals.
